Pastor Zonita C. Swanigan, Senior Pastor

Pastor Zonita Swanigan is a wife, daughter, sister but above all a dedicated and committed servant of Jesus Christ. She graduated in 1998 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Ferris State University and received a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Central Michigan University in 2016. She has been a member of Evangel Christian Church in Roseville, MI since 2001 and has served in multiple areas of ministry such as deliverance and inner healing, leadership training, and biblical education. She is a member of Evangel Association of Churches & Ministries (EACM) and assists with organizing annual prophetic conferences, quarterly presbytery services and prophetic teams.

Pastor Zonita is the co-dean of the Apostles and Prophets Institute (API) (a Destiny School of Ministry program) located in Roseville, MI which opened its doors in August 2008. Since its inception she has worked diligently to train, equip and impart to men and women of God a greater knowledge and understanding about the apostolic and prophetic ministries. She is a seer (prophet) who not only desires to fulfill her personal destiny but to see the next generation of apostles and prophets released to fulfill their destinies in Christ. Pastor Zonita also is a Senior Pastor of Cutting Edge International Ministries (founded by her husband Dr. Linnie Swanigan) which supports and oversees several ministers and ministries throughout the metro Detroit area. Together as an apostolic and prophetic team, they provide counsel, mentoring, foundational teaching, apostolic and prophetic insight, deliverance and community outreach through the Word of God. She is committed to serving God’s kingdom and seeing every believer walking in their divine purpose and transforming this world with the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
